  1. Hi @KeithG, The future Royal Caribbean terminal sure does look good. Galveston is long overdue a shiny new terminal facility! I haven't heard anything about Carnival upgrading its terminal for the larger Excel-class vessels. I'll have to keep a look for any updates on that front.
  2. My favorite is between Norwegian Joy and the Norwegian Escape. They both have some cool vivid colors and themes. I also think Guy Harvey's design of the Escape livery has been among the most popular.
  3. Hey @Dragon33809, have you tried calling them about this issue?
  4. Hi @Mike_P, That's a tricky one for sure! Hard to know really. We've just gotta trust Richard Fain that the guy knows what he's doing and can steer the cruise line into even better times for everyone. Will be interesting to see what he does.
  5. Hi @Sb52806, As far as know, sailings from San Juan, Puerto Rico are a go. Explorer of the Seas has already restarted operations from the port in San Juan on November 7, 2021. You should be fine.
  6. Hi @Northerngooner, welcome to the new boards! The first guest sailing for Grandeur of the Seas will depart Bridgetown, Barbados on December 5, 2021. Where are you seeing the 12th on Cruise Hive? Could be an older article before Royal Caribbean released the dates.
  7. It's a big day for MSC Cruises as the MSC Seascape reaches a major construction milestone by floating out at the Monfalcone shipyard in Italy and the naming ceremony for the new MSC Seashore at Ocean Cay. It has already been announced that MSC Seascape will sail from Miami, who is excited about that?
  8. @Niki, hopefully the situation will get better and once cruise lines take over with their own programs, they can make some adjustments next year. Hang in there, it will get easier.
  9. Hi @pandy, I think the situation will be much better by the end of 2022 and I hope you get to make up for all that missed cruising! Don't forget to keep us updated.
  10. Thanks so much for posting @MarcsyPE and welcome to the new boards! It's all very complicated indeed! Let's just hope all this will be over in the next year or so and that nations can learn.
  11. Hi @Cruise-Sailor, thanks so much for posting! One of the other writers did a more detailed look at some of the differences between the previous order and the current temporary order. It will be interesting to see what happens on January 15th with the new voluntary program with the cruise line. To be honest, I don't think much will change at that time.

    Nassau

Hi @AHollyS, welcome to the new boards! I can't find too much about geocaches in Nassau. I did find this though: https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC97MRD_historic-caches-of-nassau-county-challenge I hope it helps a little.
  13. Just remember that it won't be cold inside, so do make sure it's not all just thick sweaters! Sun glasses will be needed for sure.
  14. Hi @Debbie, thanks so much for posting on the new boards! I'm not into the casino aspect of cruising. Hopefully, someone else on here can follow up with their experience. Which cruise is it by the way?

    Simon

Hi @Simon, I believe they are not accepting any vaccine exemptions at the moment due to the vaccine being available for kids too. Don't think they've detailed it yet. Have you tried contacting them? Check here too: Have Fun. Be Safe. | COVID-19 Guest Protocols | Carnival Cruise Line
  16. Hi @tonya21969, Do keep checking your booking details by logging in on the Carnival site as the itinerary will be updated there as soon as the cruise line has decided on an alternative. Great advice from @RaringToGo too!
  17. She's been a cruise director for a while now, one of the best for sure.
  18. Hi @Sheri Thomson, thanks so much for posting on our new boards! Cruise Hive is not a cruise line or travel agent. Which cruise line are you booked with so I can direct you to the correct support?
  19. Hi @Cymru68, that's a very good question, and often the rules in the UK are different to the U.S. Which cruise line are you booked with? I'll have to take a deeper look. By the way, are you from Wales by any chance? I see the welsh name in your username! Cruise Hive is based in Swansea, Wales!
  20. Hi @Dennis Nolan, which cruise is it?
  21. Hi @jtwachs, at the moment, Princess Cruises will continue its protocols through February 28, 2022 as posted on its website. Do check the current requirements when it comes to wearing a must. They could make a further update before the end of February, so always remember to keep checking.
  22. Hi @Vikki W, with it being Nassau, I don't think the change will have too much of an impact. Many guests often remain onboard when in Nassau!
  23. Just to let everyone know that the Bahamas is set to extends its vaccine mandate for cruise ship passengers to 2022. All the details are here: https://www.cruisehive.com/the-bahamas-extends-vaccination-mandate-for-cruise-visitors/58650
  24. @DTB, sounds like a great cruise director, how about any on Carnival?
  25. Hi @Paul Thompson and welcome to the new boards. That's a good question, but I think it may have something to do with the ship size and refueling with LNG. Ships have to navigate through the Mississippi River, which could proove tricky for the larges ships such as Mardi Gras. That's my guess anyway. Only Carnival will know why they didn't choose New Orleans. Maybe someone else can think of a reason why.
