  1. Hey @Christina Short, thanks for your post! it sure is very fluid situation these days. It's so good you enjoyed your cruise on Princess. Most guests are enjoying their cruises, but everyone needs to be prepared for changes and cancellations until this all goes away. Cruising continues!! Which ship you heading on in April?
  2. Hi @Maureen Brubaker, thanks for posting! Mexico just recently announced that its cruise ports will still allow cruise ships to dock even with positive cases onboard. Should be fine on the west coast now and well done to Mexico!
  3. They will be put into isolation as soon as possible, which will usually be located on a specific deck. Close contacts will also be tracked down.

Hey @clt07c, I just checked their site and looks like it's still a go!
  5. The Carnival Freedom continues to sail.
  6. Nothing, Mexico ports are all good to go and the government recently confirmed it: https://www.cruisehive.com/mexico-to-allow-cruise-ships-with-positive-cases-to-dock/62806
  7. Sooner the better, so cruising can return to normal!
  8. Haven't heard of any changes, should be all good!
  9. Mexico has recently announced that all of its ports will welcome cruise ships even if they have positive cases onboard. https://www.cruisehive.com/mexico-to-allow-cruise-ships-with-positive-cases-to-dock/62806
  10. I believe they should try and transfer you to a similar stateroom. Try calling them and find out why they did this.
  11. Let's hope now they have started to enforce that following all the recent developments.

You're going to have read all your documentation carefully. Check the cancellation details as cruise lines have that flexibility on offer.
  13. Oh no, doesn't sound good. Maybe they have more toilets on the deck so can make each one smaller.
  14. Good question. Not sure to be honest. Might have to do some digging on that one. Also depends on the travel requirements the country has implemented. Trying checking the MSC site in the UK and the Brazil government travel site.
  15. To be honest, there's no cruise line that I know of right now that is cruising with only unvaccinated passengers. Best to wait until this is all over.
  16. Sounds like they need to try an enforce things more when ashore and between going on land and the ship. I think a lot of it is related to the terminal procedures and tour operators too.
  17. Hi @Janet, thanks for posting. I think it's still ok to cruise but you need to be prepared for any changes during the voyage such as the cancellation of ports and even being isolated if you do get COVID. There are protocols in place to protect guests and crew.
  18. I know someone else who was really disappointed about the sudden change, just days before their cruise departure. So sorry you have to go through that.
  19. Amber Cove is still happening with Carnival cruise ships. Grand Turk has just started welcoming cruise ships back so should be good too. To make sure you keep checking protocols and any updates from the cruise line as things are always changing.
  20. Hey @FiveAlive, saw a few reports that Explorer of the Seas was denied again. Not sure the specific reasons for this, will have to look into this.
  21. Everything is changing so much. The cruise lines are working with the CDC, so who knows what will happen in the coming months.
  22. Hey @TravelPro, did they provide you with a letter or anything about the situation and the missed ports?
  23. Hey @GLENE, Carnival doesn't often reveal capacity details of each sailing. There is no way to know really. You must be on the cruise now, so you could try asking at guest services.
  24. Hey @Sarah, it sure is getting concerning out there! The issues seems to be with the ports as they just deciding not to allow ships to dock if their are cases on board. I hope it's all sorted before your cruise. Let us know how it all goes.
