  1. The situation is a lot better now so you never know what will happen in the coming months when it comes to easing protocols, fingers crossed!
  2. With the rate they are updating their protocols, it sure is a possibility!
  3. Haven't head yet, but will keep an eye out for any new developments.

    Grand Cayman

That sure does sound like a hassle. I would rather not travel there and just wait until requirements are lowered. Going on a cruise sounds much easier!
  9. What show was that? The situation is even better now and protocols are starting to ease slightly.
  10. Got my fingers crossed for you @Boss Lady! The situation does seem to be heading in the right direction now.
  11. Seems to be on Sailings that depart from March 1, so you would have to keep wearing the mask.
  12. There was a letter sent out in January saying that Splash Academy would not be offering drop-off for 5-12 year old's through February 2022. However, it's changing very fast so it could have changed. Would have to contact NCL to find out about your specific ship. here's the article is it's helpful: https://www.cruisehive.com/norwegian-cruise-line-wont-be-offering-drop-off-services-at-splash-academy/63513
  13. So you need a test taken no more than 1 day before travel to the U.S. You'll then need to show a negative test result that was taken within two days of departure. All the details are here: Travel Requirements for US Cruises | Celebrity Cruises
  14. Hi @Johnna, welcome to the new boards and thanks for your first post. There are two guides that may help you out: Big Easy Guide on New Orleans Cruise Parking 20 Most Ideal Park and Cruise New Orleans Hotels
  15. All seems to be good on the Celebrity Apex. Not hearing of any issues. Hopefully, someone onboard can answer!
  16. You can check the Norwegian Cruise Line protocols right here: Norwegian Cruise Line | Sail Safe | Health & Safety Protocols (ncl.com) It states from March 1, 2022, "At time of check-in, all guests will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 antigen or PCR test result administered by a verified third party or via medically supervised home test."

Not yet, but the cruise lines recently had talks with the authorities of the Cayman Islands on restarting ship visits. Hopefully, we'll have a restart date soon. You read the latest here: https://www.cruisehive.com/cruise-lines-in-talks-to-restart-ship-visits-to-grand-cayman/65463
  18. It's a tricky situation with Crystal Cruises. Have you tried calling them?
  19. I'm not on the sailing but haven't seen anything to worry about. All seems to be good on the ship.
  20. Hi @Morningstar, which ship are you booked on? Maye they can't do their private island due to the time it would take and that it could impact the arrival at other ports. Did you call them at all?
  21. Not sure why they included "pleased" in their letter. It wasn't good news for many guests that were looking forward to their Europe sailing.
  22. I believe so, yes. Royal Caribbean recently sent out that it's extending its protocols and pretty much everything is the same.
