There is more to this situation than is being brought up in this thread. Missed emails? Miscommunication? Misunderstanding. Whole thing sounds very strange and as a travel agent, sounds very out of character for MSC.

@brian amos I do feel for you as this is a horrible situation. As a travel agent myself, I must ask. Did you purchase travel protection? Sounds like it would be very helpful in dealing with some of the stresses caused by this unfortunate situation.

I’m not sure if it was a glitch in RCCLs booking platform (which is an exclusive system for travel agents) but I was able to get my client a 7 day in May for $1,600 per person, Balcony. Pricing through their website AND through my travel agent RCCL rep, it priced at $4,900 more per cabin. luck of the draw, maybe??? 🤷‍♂️
