From booking in SEPTEMBER 2022 on an MSC cruise ship SINFONIA CRUISE DATE 05/04/2024 to today 08/02/2024 everything was cancelled and lost $2000 because of it, from EMIRATES AIRLINES surely if cruise customers cancel and are charged a fee then cruise companies should be also liable for cancellations. our trip was to fly from Brisbane, Australia, for three days in MILAN, a TRIP TO LAKE COMO, then down to GENOA pick up the cruise ship, and then on to MARSEILLE, BARCELONA, DAY AT SEA, TANGIERS, CASABLANCA, CETUNA, MALAGA, ALICANTE, DAY AT SEA, GENOA R&R, CORFU, KOTOR, SPLIT, AND BACK TO VENICE FOR THE FLIGHT HOME, WHAT A TRIP IT WOULD HAVE BEEN ?? SO PLEASE DONT ASK ME HOW I FEEL ABOUT MSC CRUISES, THESE AUSTRALIAN PENSIONERS ARE STILL WIPING THE TEARS AWAY

Booked a cruise through a travel agent here in AUSTRALIA in SEPT 2022 on board MSC SINFONIA leaving GENOA APRIL 5th 2024, 16 nights west mediterranian then back to GENOA and round to VENICE, paid in full by the due date, then on NOV 10th 2023 found out the SINFONIA was cancelled from NOV 25th 2023 untill APRIL 15th 2024, went through all the special services required,and requested an accessable cabin, two seniors with DIABTES, and SLEEP APNEA, now with ONLY 9 weeks before our booked flights, nothing can not get a reply from our travel agents only waiting for MSC??, is there any come back that we can contact to complain about how we have been treated by MSC and compensation for all the up evil it as caused. there must be a lot more cruisers that have been effectied by MSC total arogance in these times

MSC canceled all Sinfonia cruise's from NOV 15/2023 to April 15 /2024 and said it was due to conflict in GAZA STRIP? nothing about maintenance in SICILY and due to be back in service MARCH 2024 so all this up evil from MSC and the lies from a supposed to be reputable company? so there was no need to cancel our cruise due to leave GENOA 05/04/2024. most upset with MSC and the contempt it has shown to the paying cruisers from AUSTRALIA and all over the world

WE ARE DUE TO FLY OUT OF BRISBANE ON APRIL 1 FIRST TIME CRUISING WITH MSC BUT BEEN ON TWELVE OTHER CRUISE LINES, NOT EVEN OUR BOOKING AGENTS KNOW ABOUT OUR CRUISE CANCELATION,? (SO THEY SAY). NOT IMPRESSED WITH MSC AS WE HAD PRE-BOOKED OUR INFORMATION ABOUT OUR DISABILITIES AND MEDICAL REQUIRMENTS, NOW WE WILL HAVE TO RE BOOK EVERYTHING AGAIN NOW ON TWO SHIPS, OUR CRUISE AGENTS ARE TRYING TO REBOOK US ON MSC EUROPA 7 NIGHTS THEN ON TO MSC SINFONIA 6 NIGHTS AND THEN BACK HOME TO BRISBANE, NOT WHAT WE WANTED OR BOOKED BUT WAS HAS BEEN OFFERED BY OUR AGENTS? IF AVAILABLE????? HOPE MSC LOOKS AFTER US AND COMPENSATES US, ANYWAY IF WE GO IT WILL BE AN OPEN MIND GOOD OR BAD WITH FULL REPORT AUSTRALIA AND WORLDWIDE,

  12. thank you yes through a third party in AUSTRALIA MSC canceled two ships? from mid NOV 23 to 15TH April 24 and we were booked to leave on the 5/04/2024
  13. Is there more in it than meets the eye? Is it MSC have dropped their anchor by selling cruises too cheap and this problem in the MIDDLE EAST is a way out? there are still MSC cruises going around the MEDITERRANEAN, even today you can book with MSC during those blocked out dates for our cruise, one being MSC SINFONIA, 05/04/2024 why not just miss out those ports and be at sea? as cruisers with MSC for the first time, this leaves a nasty taste in our mouths and bank balance because it is now over six weeks since the cancelations were announced and nothing from MSC or the travel agents, as to what is or not going on???????
