@Mike_P, in these cases, they will usually put on some extra training for the crew and increase the work hours to ensure all the issues are resolved. I doubt they will come down on any individual crew member. More about the entire department and working extra hard to make things better ready for the follow-up inspection, which they really must pass!

Carnival should consider Offering All Inclusive
Emrys replied to Taressa Harris's topic in Carnival Cruise Line
It looks like Carnival is also introducing a fee for Chibang on Mardi Gras. Unfortunately, it's how the entire world is going now, and cruise lines are not exempt from it. We're going to keep hearing of many changes throughout the year, including Carnival's updated loyalty program, I'm sure! -

MSC Cruises' New Ship Open for Bookings
Emrys replied to Kendall James-Vargas's topic in MSC Cruises
She will be the sister ship to the current MSC World Europa. Check the photo below to see what she will look like. What do you think? -
We're working on it, I guess that fix did not work!
-
I actually just noticed above that you already said you booked that ship! I should have checked, lol. I can see that the dry dock was completed in February 2019, so fairly fresh for sure. if anyone wants some quick details and stats on the Celebrity Millennium, this might help: 1586210816_Celebrity-Millennium-Fact-Sheet.pdf

You will have to keep us updated on how the cruise goes. Which ship is it?
-
Glad to hear! Have a nice weekend!

It was related to a cache issue for that category page. We have now found the issue and is being permanently resolved. Sorry about that @Jim Lamb. If you ever have any more issues in the future, feel free to post here and we'll be happy to help!

Your Favorite Onboard Activity
Emrys replied to Kendall James-Vargas's topic in Royal Caribbean International
On the last Royal Caribbean cruise I found that the pools were the highlight. I like what they have on the Quantum-class cruise ships with the indoor pool area. not so handy when in the Caribbean, but good for those ships that sail in the colder waters from the UK. -
It's Wave Season right now, which is a period of the year when cruise line tend to lower cruise fares to fill up ships for the upcoming summer season.

Your Favorite Norwegian Cruise Line Experience
Emrys replied to Kendall James-Vargas's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
For me, it would have to be the pool and the Aqua Park. My son really enjoys the swimming element of cruising, so that's always important for us. However, as someone who has worked in the industry for a long time, I like everything!! -
The good thing is that the cruise line, along with other Carnival-owned brands are have SpaceX's Starlink installed through the year, which would improve things a lot. The era of slow internet on cruise ships and lack of connectivity are almost over.
-
That's great news for sure! It's rolling out across Carnival brands too. Will be on most ships by the end of this year.

You mean this one? Can't beat it!

There's one venue that is always at the top of my list, and that Guy's Burger Joint, with probably the best burgers at sea! The only problem, is that it's easy to eat too much junk food, so maybe one or twice during the voyage is best.

By far it has to be Cozumel, Mexico. The port of call has everything and I always found that there was a good atmosphere there. Having a late departure is best!
-
Glad it's all working fine now. Let us know if you experience any issues using the site.

Not seeing any issues on our end. Are you still having the issue even after clearing the browser cache?
-
Thanks very much for letting us know about this issue, we are looking into it. Much appreciated!

Norwegian Cruise Line is making changes to just once daily room cleaning.

I'm not a fan of Freeport, was never much to do when going ashore. Nassau is often a port that not as many passengers go ashore at.

Cucina del Capitano Wins Best Specialty Dining Venue
Emrys replied to Kendall James-Vargas's topic in Carnival Cruise Line
A shame Rudi's is not featured on the other class vessels. Glad you enjoy the experience there. Any other favorite venues onboard Carnival Celebration?
