To me the hardest job on a cruise ship would be the cabin steward for the  physical and the customer service desk for the mental.

@PaulB I would have thought every job was challenging in its own way as some would be harder in a way that they have so much responsibility on their shoulders. Some would be mentally draining maybe as

@Jim Lamb That's awesome. Probably a really nice crowd to perform for. Nothing like performing for vacationers who are relaxed and in a great mood. Then again, if you have a family at home, it's even better to be able to go home to them every night. Also, eating out all of the time doesn't compare to a nice homecooked meal!
