Kendall James-Vargas
What is you favorite part of cruising with Norwegian Cruise Line? 3Sisters
I'm always one to visit the gym onboard any cruise! I absolutely love when the wellness center has views of the ocean. It makes for an incredible run. Norwegian Prima seems to have a beautiful gym offering, with views of the pool. PaulB
That gymnasium looks fantastic. I'd be tempted to go to the gym while on holiday if I saw that
FJB
A gym is not vacation to me, regardless of the views. Well there could be some views that draw me to the gym on a cruise, but this is a family forum...
3Sisters
@FJB I understand most people don't enjoy the gym as much as I do, but the spa and saunas are all a part of this experience to me. A walk on a treadmill and decompressing in a sauna is very relaxing to me!
PaulB
Not often anyone can say they ran on a treadmill in the middle of the ocean
Emrys
For me, it would have to be the pool and the Aqua Park. My son really enjoys the swimming element of cruising, so that's always important for us. However, as someone who has worked in the industry for a long time, I like everything!!
Kendall James-Vargas
The Aqua Park tends to have an element for every thrill level. Even if you don't enjoy the park, there is usually a seating area/bar within the park where you can relax. My children also enjoy the swimming pools, but they always complain of their eyes burning! I have learned to always pack good goggles than don't leak. The cheap ones just don't seem to hold up with the salt water chlorination systems. Speaking of pools, I found this article wild! One of Royal Caribbean's pools recently overflowed! The photographs look terrifying. https://www.cruisehive.com/royal-caribbean-cruise-ship-experiences-unusual-water-incident/91922

However, we are greatly disturbed by NCL’s lack of courteous pre-cruise customer service in planning our next cruise which departs on Feb 6. This has got to change, or it’s time for us to make a change.
3Sisters
@Helene Do you live near a particular European port? I loved living in the state with a port within driving distance. It's so much more convenient and fiscally responsible to drive to the cruise port versus flying to it. Unfortunately, I have been noticing a trend of loyal guests becoming very frustrated with the cruise line lately. Norwegian Cruise Line has been changing its itineraries on the daily it seems. https://www.cruisehive.com/category/cruise-news/norwegian-cruise-line If you browse Norwegian Cruise Line's recent news you will see serval news articles related to this subject. I think many NCL guests are looking elsewhere to cruise. The line's unpredictability is driving guests away. I hope there is a switch that happens soon and the cruise line changes its lack of genuine customer service!
