Jim Lamb Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 Has anyone noticed that the Covid banner for information about requirements has disappeared from the top of the Carnival homepage? Is this a sign of great things to come? I know it used to be there as the first thing that you saw when you went to their page. Could it be that the folks at Carnival will be the first ones to come to their senses and ban the discrimination from their cruise line? We can only hope and pray that this is the first domino falling for the reopening of cruising for the masses! 1 Quote
Jim Lamb Posted July 19, 2022 Author Posted July 19, 2022 OOpps! Nevermind, it is still there! I just figured out that I had clicked the "hide advisory" button a while back! A guy can hope right?! 1 1 Quote

DeanneB Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 @Jim Lamb I was like " Really?!! did it change??!!. Of course, I have to check. It's still there 🤣 Quote
contractsmatter Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 Being unvaxed is not a protected class. Crying about discrimination does nothing but make you sound like a petulant child. Sad. Quote
DeanneB Posted July 24, 2022 Posted July 24, 2022 I do not think it is discrimination, toward the unvaxed. Of course we wanted everything to go back to pre-covid, but that is not gonna happen. Covid is here to stay. So in a larger picture, would be finding ways to live with Covid. The generally acceptable solution for this is to get vaccinated, until such a time that Covid has become so common that the masses no longer need to be vaccinated. The requirements will definitely ease up, when that will happen is up for everybody's guess. But hopefully, all the restrictions will be lifted up next year. 1 Quote
