Caribbean Princess problems

Currently on board Caribbean Princess, speed has been limited due to "technical problems".   Port calls still on but time on shore has been greatly reduced.

Sitting near the stern there is a very noticeable shake, like a shaft or propeller being out of balance.   Other than saying "technical difficulties" there has been no other description of the problem.

@Darrell That's really bizarre! There is definitely something going on at the bottom of the ship. I have read about this happening on another ship, and apparently, this speed reduction could likely be due to two different things. Engine issues are commonly why this occurs. Not so long ago Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas had an engine issue like this. Other than this setback, how has your cruise experience been onboard Caribbean Princess thus far?

Seems strange that this seems to be happening on a few ships all the time. I'm surprised how many cancellations there have been lately. I would not be at all happy if things were cancelled or moved about

@Darrell Do you have any updates on the technical issues you experienced onboard this Princess Cruises itinerary? Hopefully, these issues have been resolved and didn't trickle down to the proceeding itineraries. I can't believe you felt the shake while onboard. That's sort of frightening!
