Balcony Chairs

Just how comfortable are the chairs on the balcony and do they have a better type of balcony chair if you have a suite ?

Does anyone bring a cushion to put on the chairs ? How do the chairs compare to other cruise lines ?

What balcony do you have? If the balcony is large enough they can put an adjustable lounge chair and maybe with a footstool.  But generally, it will be a regular chair.  It will not hurt to ask the attendant if you can have a better chair.

@Blue Shirt, Virgin Voyages is best when it comes to being comfortable! They have the hammocks! They look super comfy!

Ah yes the Virgin Cruises.  I have yet to cruise on their ships.  Heard good things about them.  Isn't their ships adult only?

@Cruiser44 I didn't know Virgin Voyages offers hammocks to its guests! Do you need to book a certain type of stateroom in order to utilize this amenity?

@Blue Shirt I have never thought to bring my own cushion onboard for the balcony chairs. That's an interesting idea, possibly inflatable would be best for packing in luggage. An inflatable cushion could even double as a pool float!
