  1. You don't realize how true that is...😏 our son has Autism , even though he has been cruising with us for 20 years there are times he doesn't want to leave the room.  So this will make it very comfortable for us if this happens on this trip. Just the convenience of being able to have priority boarding and the YC experience is worth the price when traveling with someone with Autism.  That was why we sailed on NCL Haven's in the past for that " ship on a ship" experience.

  2. I'm thinking that MSC is a better price seeing that the gratuities are included with the drink package. However the rooms are much larger on NCL Haven we had a 2 bedroom Villa with 2 full bathrooms that had amazing showers,1with a huge soaking tub. But we did not have a whirlpool on the balcony.  We shall see. I am very excited.

  3. Hi again 3 Sisters,

Thanks for the link, I did read through it, as I mentioned before it won't hurt to take a look. Have you ever been to the Cystal Caves?  It looked like the inside had a paved walkway. Which is wonderful, don't want anyone to have a panic attack. 😅

  4.  🖐 yes this will be our first experience on MSC  Line. We have traveled on many NCL Ships in the past. The last being one of our favorites because we stayed in the 2 bedroom Haven.  The suite was large with 2 beautiful bathrooms and a dining area. We have also been on a couple of Carnival ships and one Royal Caribbean. I'm excited about this experience seeing that it is an European ship. I'm sure that we'll be eating in the Yacht Club dining room, because our son has Autism and  the smaller dining areas work out better for him.

  5. Yes , I  did post this in a earlier thread when I was just starting to consider MSC. At first I was a little hesitant because they don't offer two bedrooms like the NCL Haven's offer, I hope the loft will work. Looking forward to going on this Line.

  6. I just booked the duplex Yacht Club Suite for next April.  This is a surprise for my husband and special needs adult son. Does anyone have any pictures of these rooms? We have never been on MSC before, I'm hoping that the Yacht Club will be as nice as NCL'S Haven 2 bedroom Villa. Have so many questions and would appreciate any information. Thanks,🙂

  8. Last May we did travel in the NCL'S  Joy 2 Bedroom Haven. It was the most amazing experience that we could imagine. The entire trip we were catered to, however the price has almost doubled in the past year.

When I saw that MSC had Yacht Club Suites I was intrigued,  we have never sailed with MSC . Maybe we will check it out.

  9. Hi, I'm considering sailing out of NY on MSC. Just curious on everyone's thoughts, experiences and opinions.  We been on many NCL cruises in the past the last one being a year ago on the Joy in a 2 bedroom Family Haven. That was amazing, but the prices this year are way to high. When I saw MSC Yacht Club I was hoping for that same kind of individual attention. We travel with our special needs adult son and the ship in a ship works out extremely well for him.
