Wallis Zogg Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 I feel that the policy of not allowing oxygen concentrators onboard is very unfair. I do not have a respiratory condition and only use my device at night for sleeping. I sometimes breathe in a shallow manner, and the concentrator keeps up my oxygen level. I have the highest loyalty level for both Holland America and Princess and cannot cruise with them and enjoy my earned amenities. I cannot book future cruises because I do not know what the policy will be. Are others in the same circumstance? I have written both cruise lines and have not heard back. I have asked my travel agent, and she says she cannot help me. Has anyone else tried to get an exemption from this unfair policy? I would appreciate any suggestions as to what I might do. Quote
Terris Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 Yes, unfortunately my mother had to be dropped from our two Carnival cruises booked before the restriction because she uses a concentrator. Very disappointing. Quote
CruiseCaptain Posted November 15, 2021 Posted November 15, 2021 I think the policy could be coming to an end once the CDC order goes away. Quote
