rchinnis Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 I depart this Sunday from New Orleans and received an email from Carnival yesterday stating they're replacing Mahagony Bay with Progresso with no explanation. I found an article about the ship having to undergo repairs after it ran into another ship and there's a repair place in Progresso. Is Carnival forcing me to go to a much less desirable port AND on a busted ship? I know their refund policy is strict but this is unacceptable. I've been waiting for this cruise for 3 years. I will be calling today to try and get a refund. Quote
contractsmatter Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Best of luck. The cruise line has the right to replace ports at any time they so choose. It says so in the contract you agreed to when you booked. Contracts matter! Quote
