ombud Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 I cannot believe that someone thought they were entitled to a full refund for a few hours of inconvenience. According to the article they were given the room category they paid for after a few hours of being 'displaced' upon boarding. 300 OBC is more than adequate https://www.cruisehive.com/cruise-couple-receive-damaged-cabin-on-royal-caribbean-ship/115832 1 Quote
FJB Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Some people! That’s the world Walmart created by saying the customer is always right. Don’t expect that in my retail store! 1 Quote
Cruising Caribbean Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 @ombud I totally agree with you. That's a pretty good amount of OBC considering the relatively minimal time the guests were "displaced." Errors do occur. It doesn't matter if a computer or a human is a fault, error happens regardless. @FJB "The world Walmart created," that's so funny but true! Some people take advantage of companies and situations to gain something out of it. Things happen! I understand the guest's frustration, but at the same time, it's not such a huge deal. Quote
