Med w/ teens... would love your suggestions!

Hello! First time posting!

Our family (teens ages 16 and 17 at the time) are looking at June/July trips in the Med area. I like the Barcelona to Italy, or similar, itineraries - not sure we will do Greece or go further east right now. Anyways, would love your input on best ships/ports with teens. They are active and love adventure. Thanks!

@Sommer B Your kids are the perfect age for an adventurous cruise experience! I haven't cruised to Europe yet with my children but I really think you will enjoy exploring this region as a family. First things first, which NCL ship are you thinking of cruising on? I know Norwegian Epic has been over there now but will be homeporting in Port Canaveral next year.

As a teen, I'd always wanted to go to the sun filled destinations. So I'm aware Royal Caribbean do trips to Spain, Portugal and canary islands. I personally have always wanted to go to the Algarve. Such a beautiful place.

You may be able to find a good itinerary to that region with Celebrity Cruises! I think the Algarve is a niche destination. I haven't seen it on too many itineraries. There was actually a recent delay of disembarkation for Celebrity Silhouette due to poor weather patterns.  On the bright side, guests onboard got more time to enjoy the ship!
