Ocean Cay Visitor Passes

MSC Cruises guest died on August 31st, drowning at Ocean Cay, the cruise line's private island. The MSC Meraviglia guest was only 26 years old and a resident of New York. Charles was administered CPR by the lifeguard and received the D-fib, but neither of those alternatives was able to resuscitate him. Having experienced Ocean Cay, even visiting last month, I feel so strongly for Charles' family and friends. I have always found the lifeguards and safety team on the island to be pretty on the ball. I wonder what went wrong.

It's sad news to hear for sure. It certainly tarnishes the whole vacation for all the guests when something like this happens. In my experience, most lifeguards and safety tend to be switched on, it's baffling to hear what happened.
