Relief for Lahaina

As a former crew member on the Pride of America, I know first hand how much food goes to waste at the end of the voyage, dumped into shipping containers. Can you send this excess to Lahaina? They need it.

@Wendy Joseph, Able Seaman Thank you for making the cruise experience that much better by working onboard as a former crew member on Pride of America! How long did you serve as a crew member?  This saddens me so much. I really dislike all of the food waste that happens onboard cruise ships. Thankfully, cruise lines are becoming more efficient in reducing waste and consolidating in a more eco-friendly way. I also appreciate cruise lines that give back to organizations such as UNICEF that help feed those in need across the globe.

@Wendy Joseph, Able Seaman what a fantastic idea. Yes that would be appreciated by anybody that is affected at the moment. It goes to show wherever people are in the world, and whatever differences there are, everyone will always come together when they need it the most.
