Gratuities and Tipping

Tipping I believe is a way to thank for a good service. In general, not necessarily on ships, I feel tipping is now expected even if we get bad service.

@LukeJ and @FJB It's such as toss up! I usually prefer to prepay the gratuities if I have the option as well. To me, it makes budgeting for the vacation easier. 

@LukeJ Do you think the amount you are charged is reasonable per cruise? I have never felt overcharged, but maybe it's because I feel the staff is very deserving of the price I'm charged.
