Private Pool or Jacuzzi?

Would you prefer a private pool or jacuzzi for your balcony stateroom? I think I would rather have a private jacuzzi!

Hmmmm.  We stayed at an Abnb in September with a jacuzzi on the deck that we got a lot of use out of, but not sure how much we would use it on a ship where there is so much other stuff to do. I’ve seen some all inclusives that enable you to walk right out of your room right into the pool, but not a private pool. I guess it would be considered a swim up pool, but instead of swimming up to the bar you are swimming up to your room.

I agree, with so much events and entertainment on board these days, would you use these for their full benefit?

@PaulB Personally, I don't think I would use the full benefit of a private pool. A private jacuzzi on the other hand, that could be pretty relaxing in the evening time. I usually try to avoid the public jacuzzis during the evening, but I think I would use a private one much for due to convenience.

@PaulB I agree. I don't think I would leave my stateroom very often. Instead of going to the main dining room, I would be ordering room service every evening.

@PaulB Now I'm going to be looking for reasonably priced staterooms with a private jacuzzi. My cruise budget may need to be increased exponentially.

@Woody14 This made me laugh. I see the value in this, but it seems sort of hazardous to me. I'm not sure how well that balcony glass will hold up with all of the water pressure!
