Miami-Home town hero parade

Anyone have suggestions how to get transportation this Sunday from holiday in Port of Miami for 10am check in with road closures due to the parade which runs right in front of the hotel.

Just received notification from Carnival a few minutes ago.

That can be tricky.  Have you inquired with the hotel about the possibility of a shuttle service?  You may need to walk just outside the parade route to where you might possibly catch an Uber or cab.

Yes I called the hotel. Unfortunately they were useless. Tried to tell me the parade doesn't start til 3. When I told them that isn't true and road closures at 4am they didn't have any suggestions.

I would think that other people on the same cruise will have the same problem getting to the terminal. If you are staying at the holiday inn by Biscayne Blvd is it possible you could walk with your cases if they are on wheels unless you have mobility problems in which case it's not such a good idea. Maybe a post on the T.Advisor Miami travel forum would get a helpful answer as they have destination experts. Hope you can get this sorted in time.

Yeah, I can imagine, road closures are done early before any event.  I hope the wheels on your luggage are at 100%.  I think the best option is to know exactly the route of the parade and find the shortest distance away from it.  Hopefully, there won't be a huge crowd before 10AM.
