Will not be traveling to Bermuda anymore due the the stress, cost, and inconvenience of them requiring travel authorizations and covid testing.  Travel authorizations are just a money grab by Bermuda. Too many other places to go instead and not have to deal with all that!

Yeah, I've read the cruise lines are negotiating with Bermuda regarding TA and covid testing requirements.  They relaxed the Covid testing but will keep the $40 TA.  https://www.cruisehive.com/bermuda-to-remove-all-testing-requirements/83371

I'll bet all ports charge passengers for the privilege of being there. It's called PORT FEES on your cruise ship statement. Bermuda has taken it to a new level. If you feel that Bermuda is extreme, you might want to skip the Panama Canal.

Bermuda is a lovely little island and maybe yes, the TA is a bit expensive for some ( especially large families ) but then its not always a brief 8 hour stop like some other ports. You can have at least 2/3 days in Bermuda with certain cruise lines and for the enjoyment you can have visiting the island some may think the extra expense is worth it.

That is true, cruise lines tend to stay longer in Bermuda, and when that is the case the TA no longer seems expensive.
