Skagway port closure?

I have heard several different reports about port in Skagway closing due to rockslides. We will be onboard NCL Bliss sailing RT Seattle 9/22/22. We have not received any itinerary change and have booked White Pass Railway. Will we be allowed to tender in and still do the excursion? Also is a passport required for this excursion? Thanks!

@AR1998There is a good chance that the itinerary may change.  Have you received any email or communication from NCL?  According to this link, several cruise lines have canceled and were diverted to other destinations such as Sitka and Strait Point.  I always keep my passport and drivers with me when traveling, in case they need it for identification.
