  1. @3Sisters Costa Toscana is a beautiful ship! It's winter itineraries will cruise to the United Arab Emirates and Oman. I wish I could be sailing one of those winter cruises next month, particularly the New Year sailing. The ship will be stopping in Duabi for New Year's Eve!
  2. Does anyone else get impatient while waiting for the cruise elevators? I usually opt the stairs to burn off the extra calories I'm eating. Does anyone else do this? I find myself working up a sweat when I climb the stairs. Maybe I should bring my sneakers for the stairwell!
  3. @3Sisters and @Emrys Check out these fun things to do in Grand Turk. Some of these activities I haven't tried yet, but I certainly will explore these options next time I visit. https://www.cruisehive.com/22-things-to-do-in-grand-turk-during-a-cruise-vacation/23225
  4. @3Sisters Thanks for the recommendation! It looks like a must see, with the most majestic backdrop.
  5. @3Sisters Absolutely! He will be in New York this weekend for New Year's Eve. Carnival is sponsoring the ball drop! @kefthecruiser I'm picturing Emeril saying that it my head! @DeanneB I bet there will be some new menu items for the new ship. I will keep an eye out for that!
  6. @DeanneB The line has to keep up with its status as "The World's Most Popular Cruise Line." https://www.carnival.com/about-carnival/about-us.aspx
  7. @DeanneBI already feel nervous riding a roller coaster on land but at sea just seems even more intimidating. I'm sure Carnival Cruise Line will come up with new attractions! Maybe they could add one of those sky diving simulators at sea. I don't think any cruise line has offered that yet.
  8. @FJB Celebrity Millennium looks like a solid ship! You can't go wrong with old and faithful. The ship also offers tons of different itineraries. I looks like it will be sailing out of Japan pretty soon! Will you be departing from Japan?
  9. @Emrys That's a good thought. I think it could potentially blow away out there on the balcony, especially on a windy day at sea!
  10. @Emrys I don't think you can go wrong with Icon of the Seas! It does have the largest waterpark at sea!
  11. Which is your favorite Royal Caribbean cruise ship and why?
  12. @3Sisters Hopefully Carnival Cruise Line's presence continues on for special events like this in future years!
  13. @FJB Based on your experience with Celebrity Edge, would you like to book on the Celebrity Beyond? It looks like a pretty large ship, and I'm sure its sailing close to its full capacity, 3,260 guests.
  14. Within the Eastern Caribbean, which is your favorite place to stop while cruising?
  15. @3Sisters Yes, its pretty amazing that the ship will offer 28 different stateroom options. I haven't been on a ship with that many cabin options before!
  16. For the second year in a row, Carnival Cruise Line's roller coaster, BOLT, was awarded Cruise Hive's Best Cruise Ship Feature. For those that have been on the roller coaster, is it intimidating? I am always down for some exhilarating fun, but based on the photos it may be too much!
  17. @RoadTravelled I agree based on the photos. Cucina del Capitano seems to be have a festive theme, including red and white tablecloths! That's good to know Rudi's Seagrill is another hit!
  18. It looks like someone got really cleaver with their balcony. Has anyone tried this before? I guess if you want your own personal pool with a view and want to be frugal, this could be a viable option. Does this potentially breech any sort of regulations onboard? I have brought an inflatable before, but this is a whole other level.
  19. @FJB Since you enjoy cruising with Celebrity Cruises, were you able to do a metaverse tour of Celebrity Beyond? https://www.cruisehive.com/celebrity-cruises-launches-worlds-first-metaverse-cruise-ship/90470
  20. @FJB Oddly enough I prefer lobster bisque over lobster tails. It probably because I don't really eat it anywhere but on a cruise; it's novelty to me!
  21. @FJB It sounds like you are a travel advisor!
  22. @3Sisters Check this out: https://www.cruisehive.com/costa-cruises-cancels-all-asia-homeport-cruises/85623 It seems like Costa Cruises canceled Asia from its upcoming deployments because of the region's strict protocols.
  23. @3Sisters This is certainly interesting! I hope the cruise line, Costa Cruises, remains. It is a wonderful cruise line.
  24. @Woody14 What ports of call did you visit in Mexico during your July 2022 cruise?
  25. Carnival Cruise Line's restaurant, Cucina del Capitano was awarded Cruise Hive's Best Specialty Dining Venue of 2022. Did anyone vote for this restaurant? I actually haven't dined here before, but I do love Italian food. https://www.cruisehive.com/carnival-cruise-line-specialty-dining-venue-voted-best-of-2022/91283
