Joanne Lose Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 The statement made by Norwegian Sun is false. It was a perfectly sunny clear blue sky day with absolutely no fog at the time the ship hit the small iceberg. It was foggy in the early morning but that burned off well before we approached the Hubbard Glacier. Passengers on the ship, including myself took many photos of the glacier. I do not appreciate the lies nor the lack of communication by Norwegian. 1 Quote
DeanneB Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 I read that it hit a growler, a common and small low lying iceberg, that is needs to slow down its speed and asses any damage. That is very interesting. 🤔https://www.cruisehive.com/norwegian-cruise-ship-hits-iceberg-in-alaska-and-skips-port-of-call/75175 Quote
