Cruise Hive Boards

ports of call what you can bring to ship

Specific to bottles of alcohol, the cruise ship collects these when you reboard. You collect the bottles the last night of the cruise. Obviously, you can't bring contraband (illegal drugs, weapons, etc.) on board. You may want to ask at the ship Guest Services about any questionable items. Everyone is screened during  reboarding, which includes scanners.

Sealed food items can be brought back to the ship. Opened and raw, like fresh fruits, cannot be brought back and should be consumed before boarding or the food food will be collected for waste.  Sealed alcohol bottles will have to be deposited can be retrieved upon disembarking.  My husband once bought a box of cigarette, they let it slide but I am pretty sure it should be deposited.
