Emrys Posted June 25 Share Posted June 25 Passengers are reporting from onboard Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas of a fire that broke out, along with around a 20-minute power loss. The ship was making a call in Costa Maya, Mexico, at the time. It just goes to show mishaps can arise on any caliber of ship! That 20 minutes of power loss is huge. As you can see the elevators stopped working and that's a huge problem for guest traffic flow. I can't imagine if this situation happened longer than that! A fire onboard is quite alarming. Hopefully the crew was able to get a permanent fix on that issue.
