Port Status

Why does it seem so difficult to obtain information as to wether or not ports are allowing passengers to disembark. I realize there are many last minute decisions being made, but surely the lack of information available on the status of ports on future and even past cruises is  frustrating. This lack of information is steering me towards cancelling the cruise i have scheduled for early Feb.

When is NCL going to change the Bora Bora port to something else since they will not allow more than 1200 passengers in per day.  To those of us that are expecting to see the port and booked the cruise for that?
