Chris Yates
I would like to get a group together at embarkation and meet for a drink. Chat and meet others traveling solo. It's been difficult for me in the past to find other solos to mingle with. No one attends the single meetups that the ship schedules.
Cruising Caribbean
@Chris Yates This is so exciting! I hope you have a lovely cruise on April 14. I have heard that many CCL sailings don't end up having many singles show up at the meetup. That's such a shame because there are plenty of singles onboard to attend. The idea of getting a drink together is a splendid idea. I won't be on this sailing, but I hope you end up rounding up a few others to tag along! @RPC1954 will be cruising CCL out of Port Canaveral the month before. If only you both were cruising at the same time! Edited January 3 by Cruising Caribbean
Kendall James-Vargas
Hey @Chris Yates I hope you has a lovely cruise and met some lovely guests! Did you enjoy your Carnival Vista cruise? What did you like/dislike about the ship? Port Canaveral is one of my favorite ports to cruise out of, and there are plans of expansion. Port Canaveral is certainly growing in popularity, but the Space Coast is challenging the port to expand by adding another cruise terminal. After cruising out of Port Canaveral, do you think the port would benefit from an additional cruise terminal?
3Sisters
Those plans are no longer. Unfortunately this vision was too good to be true. Port Canaveral will no longer be expanding on the north side due to several factors. The extra terminal idea is a no for now, but you never know in the future. I'm hopefully it will be deemed as necessary at some point as the port continues to gain in popularity as a cruise destination. Port Canaveral happens to be the second busiest cruise port in Florida besides Miami, of course.
