Panama canal

Royal Caribbean is canceling the Panama canal cruises on Rhapsody of the Sea,and not their other PC cruises. Why is that?

Due to drought conditions, the Panama Canal is restricting traffic. I suspect more cancellations will come  Check this out:

@Floridamom That is such a bummer your Panama Canal cruise has been canceled! Rhapsody of the Seas is still cruising to Cartagena but to other Caribbean islands instead of PC from what I understand. What did the cruise line offer instead of the PC route? Will you cancel your cruise? 

@kefthecruiser Thanks for sharing the news. That's such a bummer for the area. I'm sure they will miss the income from cruise guests!
