Lorraine
Anybody have any clue if they will cancel Anthem of the Seas from NJ, sailing on Jan 20?
trbcruiser
I am with a group of 12 on that sailing, 11 of us from Canada, half of us flying in a day or two before. We are hoping RCI takes all things into consideration and cancels more than 24 hours prior to sailing.
GoldStatustravler
Hi, Just got off the Allure of the Seas on a holiday Eastern Caribbean cruise. Denied entry to St Thomas and St. Kitts. Got port costs and tours refunded. Crew stated that port denial is based on that cruise and number of on-board Covid cases. So, if you do get on the ship, you won't know if you are going to the ports until the ship's captain tells you. I would be prepared for days at sea or a visit to CocoCay (owned by RC) or Nassau (most RC ships flagged there). All current cruise ships have Covid cases and can affect your cruise destinations. If your OK with that go, but if your looking forward to the destination ports you might want to reconsider because you may be turned away.

I have a feeling that IF Anthem sails they will advise us ahead of time that there is a chance we may not make it into certain ports. I'm assuming that they would refund us port fees if that happens. This 'wait and see' is the worst part. Normally I love my cruise day countdown.

I was looking to find out how that cruise went because we were booked for it, and had to cancel it. So, out of five islands that were on the initial itinerary for this holiday cruise, you have visited only two- CocoCay and St. Maarten, correct? Were you able to go around St. Maarten on your own, or only with RC tours?
