ROYAL CARIBBEAN BANS SMOKING IN CASINOS

Currently on second night on board Oasis of the Seas Holiday cruise and they suddenly inexplicably with no warning banned smoking in the casino!  I’m told by guest services this is fleet wide through at least Jan 5th. Would NEVER EVER have boarded this ship if I had known this was even a remote possibility. Be warned if you like to smoke while you gamble that is currently no longer allowed! WORST CRUISE EVER!!

Hi @ms white, It's a new temporary policy all the cruise lines are doing. kind of came from nowhere so understand how annoyed you are. Hopefully, won't remain in place for too long.

Is this a joke? Go smoke in the other smoking areas lol it’s Covid, and the casinos are indoors and you’re obviously not wearing a mask when you’re smoking so it makes sense they made this change. They’re trying to do what they can to keep cases as low as possible. Hilarious you’re complaining about something as small as smoking while gambling

I was on Carnival on Dec 18 and was able to smoke. Following week they banned it in casinos. Glad I wasn't on that week. I understand non smokers arguments about us smokers but when they seat you in the dining room with 6 strangers and the whole dining room is maskless what is the difference. My thoughts are keep sipping your drink when your gambling. Let's see if they will ban drinking next so you have to keep the mask on.
