mr m Posted April 30 Share Posted April 30 Msc refund. Is anyone else still waiting for their refund from cancelling their med cruise booked originally in November 2020? The original cruise, booked for our 40th wedding aniversary, was cancelled due to covid and we were offered another similar cruise with upgrades. Unfortunately that cruise was covid effected so we decide to cancel. We couldn't without a huge loss so we were forced to rebook on another cruise. Decided to cancel within the time limits and told we would receive the refund 60 dys after the start date of the new cruise. That was in may 2021. I often cruise with MSC Cruises, and you should have received your refund within a maximum of 90 days. I would definitely send an email to mscexistingreservations@msccruisesusa.com stating your refund got lost in translation. Usually, they are pretty on the ball with these matters. You can also follow up with a phone call once you receive a bounce-back email with your "SR Number." I hope you receive your refund soon and can rebook on another MSC Cruises ship in the near future. Can't remember the name of the original ship, but we did have yacht club booked on it. The original cruise started from Barcelona till the port was closed due to covid Thanks for your advice I'll let you know how we get on. Let me know how it all turns out. MSC Cruises yacht club experience is truly a ship within a ship. It's an amazing luxury experience I yearn to get in the coming years. Although I haven't experienced it yet, I do believe the additional cost is totally worth it. The whole experience even comes with butler service. From a private restaurant to a private pool, the cruising experience with MSC Yacht Club is something I hope you are able to experience in the future. I will anticipate your feedback.
