Solo cruisers loyalty programs

Based on loyalty points earned per day will Carnival consider offering any points to solo cruisers paying double occupancy for one cruisers. Can it be considered fair that solo cruisers receive double points since the price is doubled. Example: a husband and wife both pay and both receive points. Solo cruisers pay for 2 and only awarded for one. Fair to give something as a reward to solo cruisers.

@Letha T This is interesting feedback! Carnival Cruise Line definitely needs to take note of such recommendations to amplify its current VIFP loyalty program. The points per expenditure incentives structure may better suit guests' interests and desires. This sort of double points for solo guests idea could be a great example of how this structure would benefit guests!

I agree with the extra points for solo cruisers who pay double occupancy.  I have often taken solo rooms and it would be nice to be rewarded for doing so.

@Julia It seems this is a popular request! Hopefully, it is strongly considered by the Carnival Cruise Line team. Did you see that Carnival Spirit just made a 24-person rescue yesterday? The cruise crew didn't even end up shifting its itinerary due to this setback. The ship was sailing near the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico during the rescue. Way to save the day Carnival Spirit!
