Cruising problem

our latest carnival mardi gras cruise was a disaster there was supposed to be a western them night which without notice was canceled because of superbowl leaving me a several other cowboys up in the air something we where looking forward to.  Then the housekeeping did like to give towels you need more than 1a day . Food never served hot weather buffet or dining room not a decent meal. Food poison from put me in bed2 days. In my opinion the worst carnival cruise I was ever on . To be straight I'm a gold level cruiser so not my first rodeo . It will take a while before I get over this one

@Charles Halliday Wow, I'm surprised they canceled the western themed night without notice. That sounds bizarre. I guess the super bowl fans took precedence on your latest cruise onboard Mardi Gras. I think every cruise line, and even every stateroom attendant, does things so differently. Were you able to communicate with your stateroom attendant that you would have preferred to have more towels in your stateroom? Sometimes stateroom attendants give the bare minimum unless you ask for something different. Usually stateroom attendants are super accommodating to individual needs. For instance, when I cruise I usually like to have wine in my stateroom and without asking the stateroom attendant will often leave wine glasses or a wine opener for me per my noticeable preferences. 

That's awful you caught food poisoning! That's the absolute worst on vacation with endless amounts of food. I'm saddened you had such a negative experience on Mardi Gras; it's truly such a fun ship with so many amenities! Do you think this experience was partially due to the ship itself or just overall cruise line related flaws?
