Favorite Food Onboard

Carnival Cruise Line has so many food options onboard. For some reason, I always look forward to the egg omelets in the morning! What is the food you look forward to the most when cruising with the line?

@Kendall James-Vargas You can't go wrong with waffles with syrup. It's not the most healthy breakfast, but it is one of my favorite breakfast foods onboard!

There's one venue that is always at the top of my list, and that Guy's Burger Joint, with probably the best burgers at sea! The only problem, is that it's easy to eat too much junk food, so maybe one or twice during the voyage is best.

only been once on carnival but Guys burgers and the pizza are stand outs to me.   the taco place for lunch is a close third.

@Woody14 You can't go wrong with a good burger! I'm assuming the burgers from Guy's Burger Joint are much better than the ones at the buffet. Which taco place are you referring to? I love tacos!

It was the blue iguana cantina.  it was open for breakfast and lunch.

@Woody14 I'm browsing the menus now! It looks so delicious. The Blue Iguana offers arepas too. That's one of my favorites. I'm blown away. Surprised no one has mentioned the chocolate lava cake. Isn’t that what Carnival is known for?

@FJB I love a good chocolate lava cake! I don't eat much dessert, so I guess it isn't my top choice. Excess sugar always triggers a migraine for me so I usually steer clear of that food group. The restaurant Chili's has a great lava cake and for my brother's birthday we usually go just for the cake. It is his favorite. Have you had Chili's lava cake before?

Wow this video looks mouth watering! This tutorial may have come in perfect time for Valentine's Day. I may have to try it out with my loved ones.

Must admit I thought this was over-rated.   It was good but not worth all the hype in my mind.

Guy's Burgers are still great, but on our last 2 cruises they no longer have sauteed mushrooms. I loved when they had them and would pile them up on my burger patty. Don't know if they discontinued for cost or risk of food poisoning but wish they would bring them back.

@TomTom That's such a bummer. I love sauteed mushrooms on burgers. I didn't know that mushrooms were a risk for food poisoning. Maybe they weren't popular on the menu. I hope they bring them back too. One thing I like more than sauteed mushrooms is grilled onions on a burger! I prefer them over raw onions. Hopefully grilled onions stay on the burger menu!

A tip we got from another cruiser was to order peanut butter with it. I am not a big peanut butter fan but it was delicious!

@susie That would be amazing! Chocolate and peanut butter is a match made in heaven. I would have never thought to order a side of peanut butter with my chocolate lava cake. How go you add the peanut butter to it? Do you just blob it on the top? It would probably be easier if the peanut butter was melted.
