Kendall James-Vargas
For the second year in a row, Carnival Cruise Line's roller coaster, BOLT, was awarded Cruise Hive's Best Cruise Ship Feature. For those that have been on the roller coaster, is it intimidating? I am always down for some exhilarating fun, but based on the photos it may be too much! DeanneB
Oh no whahaha! That is amazing if only I can ride those. 😅 I am curious though just what other attractions can they add on ships. They have everything already.
Kendall James-Vargas
@DeanneBI already feel nervous riding a roller coaster on land but at sea just seems even more intimidating. I'm sure Carnival Cruise Line will come up with new attractions! Maybe they could add one of those sky diving simulators at sea. I don't think any cruise line has offered that yet. 3Sisters
@DeanneB I was going to say bungee jumping at sea, but apparently it exists already! https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruise-activities/sky-pad Also, it seems there have been several accidents. Maybe it isn't the best attraction after all. https://www.cnn.com/videos/us/2019/03/21/man-suing-cruiseline-after-bungee-accident-mxp-vpx.hln

There has often been talk of a lazy river going around the open decks, but that's difficult to do with the stability of the ship.
Kendall James-Vargas
@Emrys I didn't even think of that. I would imagine it could be a bit dangerous on choppy days at sea. On the other hand, a lazy river is one of the best ways to relax! It would be a hit for sure.

FJB
I hear some cruiselines are starting to add private pools to balcony cabins...
Kendall James-Vargas
@FJB I immediately thought of that inflatable on the balcony! I wonder what sized pools would fit on the balconies? https://www.celebritycruises.com/things-to-do-onboard/staterooms/suite-class/edge-villa I found some info from Celebrity Cruises. I think I'm going to post the question: Would you prefer a private pool or jacuzzi for your balcony stateroom?
