Lee
We were aboard The Royal Caribbean's Independence of the Seas that was delayed by a full day to await Port Canaveral's reopening after Hurricane/Tropical Storm Nicole. We had to purchase a replacement flight for my wife to get home. There was an announcement that RC would compensate us for some portion of flight change expenses. Who/how do we contact @RC to see if we can be compensated?
DeanneB
@Lee I believe RCL generally sends an email regarding compensation packages. You may also reach support via their email, phone or chat options. Did you book using a TA or booked directly? Maybe you should reach out to your TA first. KristineF
I think other cruises were also affected by Port Canaveral repair. So glad I didnt take the sale cruise.
3Sisters
@Lee Did Royal Caribbean end up compensating you for some of the expenses? @KristineF What a bummer! It's the risk you take with booking Florida cruise in hurricane season I guess. The hurricane season runs June to November! That's half the year!
