Covid on Majestic Princess

I noticed that the Majestic Princess entered Sydney with 800 confirmed cases of Covid after mass testing of passengers. I and my companion tested positive for Covid on October 10 on the Grand Princess travelling from LA to Sydney. We arrived in Sydney on November 2. There was no mass testing on the ship but the ship changed from Level 1 to Level 2 protocol during the voyage. I wonder what the covid count would have been if mass testing would have been done prior to the ship disembarking passengers in Auckland on October 25?

800 cases on Majestic Princess is about 25% of the passengers.  It is possible that the Grand princess will also be 25% or higher should they have mass testing.  What will happen then if they mass-tested?

@sammy10 I guess the local authorities are not requiring cruise ships to do testing. If the authorities alter their rules, then Princess cruises would have to follow no doubt.
