Saving chairs

What keeps the guests from just ripping off the time that is placed on the chair? How would you know?

What do you mean?  Saving chairs by the pool or by the shows?  On shows, there are ushers that ask you to move seats to make sure that all chairs are occupied so everyone can watch the show and that no one saves a seat.  The pool, I do not know, how they will manage it.  I know guests are saving chairs using their towels and sandals.
