Tams
We are supposed to be leaving on Thursday, 9/29 out of Jacksonville to Bahamas. This will be our first cruise so we do not know what to expect during a storm. We are tracking that Jacksonville will see the severe part of Ian on Thursday morning. Do the ships still board when a storm like this is hitting them? And under the state of emergency the entire state is under?
DeanneB
Did you receive any communication through email or text from Carnival regarding your cruise? I think Thursday will have a severe impact right? It would be best to get in touch with the cruise line. I think they will have to suspend the boarding of the passengers. If there is still time they might board.

According to the latest update from Carnival on the effects of the hurricane, this cruise has been cancelled since the port is currently closed to incoming marine traffic. You should have gotten an email about refund and FCC details.
