As stated in the article above about things to do in Juneau - whale watching excursion is a must followed by a helicopter landing on the glacier to walk around and see the glacier up close.  Did both in one day while visiting on a cruise 10 years ago. One of the best cruising days of our lives!

@FJB That is so wild!  I have not seen a whale before.  I have seen a whale shark and I thought it was amazing.
