FJB
So looking at the Virgin Voyages website, pre-cruise testing is no longer required. Nowhere do I see exceptions. Yet there is a news article today on CruiseHive about Carnival still requiring a test for a cruises 5 nights or less that visits the Bahamas - a country still requiring testing according to Carnival. Virgin visits Bimini. Last I checked that is in the Bahamas. What am I missing? Have I misread the Virgin?
DeanneB
It looks like the Bahamas no longer requires testing but does require complete vaccinated status. https://www.bahamas.com/travelupdates It also mentions that the cruise lines may have a different requirement regarding testing.

You can access their full protocols by clicking here. It's an ever moving target, so best to go to this website a couple of weeks prior to your departure to make sure you have the latest updates.
DeanneB
I agree, definitely. It looks like the destination and Carnival would have different testing requirements. Protocols are always changing, always check in with the cruise line website and the official destination website.
