We have used most of the rental car companies at Tampa airport for return to Fort Lauderdale Airport in the past depending on price. On disembarking cruise if you are hiring a car afterwards there are hire car company shuttles from Fort Lauderdale cruise terminals to the airport rental collection depot. We have done this too starting by cruising then driving to Gulf coast for a stay and returning car to eithervTampa or Sarasota airports depending on our return flight routing.

Why not book an airport hotel night before cruise and return hire car then? We regularly do this and use Ramada Wyndham Airpirt hotel which is fairly basic and cheap but has free airport and cruise shuttles.

Ships itinerary has overnight in Barbados prior to disembarkation. Does anyone know if you gave to take a test before disembarking even if not getting off ship to visit Barbados the previous day. We would only leave the ship to disembark on a direct transfer to the airport for our charter flight back to U.K.

Has anyone information about ships docking at these ports next month?. I read that their Government has banned cruise ships til January 15th instead of resuming on October 15th. My travel agent knows nothing about this and says ships are still docking there and the ports are still appearing on the itinerary of a late deal I am considering.
