We have dined there a couple of times and enjoyed it.  Not sure if you can still participate in the cooking, but we did and thought it added to the experience.   Give it a try.  But on an evening when the weather is good since it is “open air”.

@FJB Is the cooking option for the Lawn Club Grill a special package or promotion? I haven't seen that option before. Do you recommend this experience for a sea day or can it get too windy?

It was not a special package when we did it but I think initially that was the concept of this restaurant.   Since very few people took advantage of it maybe they don’t allow it anymore but I can’t be sure.  Just ask when you get onboard.   The couple of times we have eaten at the Lawn Club Grill was on sail away night because of the discount being offered for 1st night dining.   So I guess you could call it a sea night and it wasn’t too windy.

@FJB Thanks for all the info. I think this Lawn Club experience is definitely worthwhile. The fact that this restaurant allows for you to participate in cooking at sea is genius. Not many cruise lines offer an experience like that. That's a good tip about a special promotion offering on sail away night. Now I feel like an insider when I book this in the future!

We have snagged 20-30% discounts on 1st night specialty dining in the past as soon as boarding, but those days have seemed to come to an end because I think most people now book specialty dining online before boarding.   You can probably get a discount online if you are willing to put some time into it by checking the website frequently.

@FJB I hope those days haven't come to an end! Sometimes the website has decent offers beforehand. I can try to book online before embarkation, and see if there is an offer. That's another great recommendation. Thanks for all of the tips. Do you have any tips as to when Celebrity Cruises runs discounted experiences? I'm thinking the closer to the cruise out date, the better.

I really don’t pay that much attention to the website deals on excursions or specialty dining.   If I want it, I buy it.

@FJB I like your life strategy. I like too many things to buy them all. If I lived by this strategy, my husband would get rid of me. I like all the cruises. I want to buy them all. That's probably one of the worst addictions to have, an addiction to cruising. As often as I can, I want to cruise. Having an upcoming cruise in my pipeline is a must!
