Sun Princess

Just booked Sun Princess for next October in Mediterranean for 11 day cruise for myself and mom...has anyone been on it yet? Looking for reviews as I hear it's very different than other Princess ships..not a big fan of Royal Caribbean or Norweigean 

I liked my time on Discovery Princess last August to Alaska...I loved the Medallion system as it worked great for me..

@threecount That sounds like a lovely itinerary! I don't think you can compare Princess Cruises and RCL because they are so different! Sun Princess will have a different feel because it's a newer, Sphere-class ship. The Medallion is a huge perk to cruising on those newer ships, like Sun Princess. I think you will have an excellent cruise. What are some of your favorite things to do while on a cruise ship? Princess Cruises is still Princess Cruises. If you like the line, I think you will appreciate Sun Princess.

believe it or not, besides the excursions I enjoyed the fun games/trivia stuff they had at night...Bingo was also fun...and of course the food!

@threecount The onboard activities are fun! I'm glad that you took the time to enjoy them. Fun activities and an active daily planner make a big difference to the cruise experience. You will find all of those fun things to do and more on Sun Princess. I love trivia and bingo so do most other cruise guests. That means all of your favorite things, including Princess Cruises' signature excursion options will be plentiful for your upcoming cruise.
