MSC Poesia Pools

I have been on several MSC Cruises' ships, but I just booked on my first "older" MSC ship, MSC Poesia. It's a longer itinerary that I intend to bring kids along for. How are the pools on this ship? Are the pools warm? I'm used to lots of water slides and splash areas. I don't think this will be as much of a family-friendly ship, but I still think they can enjoy the cruise without those extra amenities.

MSC Poesia has two pools. I'm not sure about them being indoor or heated. Where will you be cruising? Will it be cold? I hope the ship has at least one indoor pool for your sake!

In my experience, none of the pools on any ships are ever warm. I know I'm getting older, but every pool I've dipped in has been freezing and has de aged me a couple of decades. I don't look forward to going in them, but I do if my son pleads to me. But the last one we got on, even he came darting out quicker than he went in.

@LukeJ I tend to agree. Unless it's very warm out swimming pools typically feel very cold outdoors. That leaves the jacuzzis extra busy. I would say plan on colder pools just in case.

@3Sisters I have never been on a jacuzzi onboard a ship ever. Honestly, as you have stated, they get extremely busy, and I've never had the opportunity to have an available one. I won't get in one if other people are there only with my family, but I've never seen a free one in any of the cruises I've been on.
