Cruising Caribbean Posted November 18 Posted November 18 When you book at the cruise ship spa, what is your favorite service to purchase? If I book something, I always opt for the thermal suites. Quote
3Sisters Posted November 20 Posted November 20 Any come at your convenience spa service is the best for me. I enjoy just spending time away from the crowds, relaxing in a quiet space. Spa whirlpools are way better than the public whirlpools that are always crowded. Massages are another really good choice. The only thing is you have to show up at a certain time and date while on the ship. Quote
LukeJ Posted November 21 Posted November 21 If I'm honest, I've never really given anything like this a go. My wife has dropped hints about wanting to try it, but never has. To relax, I've always been happy just to chill out with a drink and looking out to sea. The fact I'm not working is a relaxation period for me, and I'm more than happy to go with the flow of things when on vacation without worrying at all about the daily grind of work. 1 Quote
3Sisters Posted November 21 Posted November 21 Us women do like to drop hints. If you feel like you can get good enough relaxation by just being on a cruise, then you don't necessarily need all the extra spa services. For some people, it's really hard to transition from normal life to vacation mode. Spa services can really help get you into a vacation mindset. Sometimes it takes a massage or a day of quiet restfulness to get into the cruise mode. I feel like when I cruise I operate at a completely different speed. I go from 24/7 spastic cleaning neat freak to I don't have a care in the world mentality. Quote
