Cruising Caribbean Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Which CCL ships have breweries onboard? Are those that have breweries included in the drink packages? My husband loves beer and I would love to book on a cruise that has a brewery onboard. That would be so fun for him! From what I have gathered the Red Frog Pub & Brewery is the only brewery on select CCL ships. Is that correct? TIA Quote
Woody14 Posted November 18 Posted November 18 I know it is only on select ships, it is on both Panarama and Vista for sure. the beers from the brewery were included in the cheers package. the tour was an extra charge I think it was $65. it was well worth it you sampled lots of beers, and got some other freebies. 3Sisters Posted November 19 Posted November 19 Thanks for that confirmation. I'm actually surprised that the brewery beers were included in the cheers package, but that's a big bonus to beer lovers. I don't think the extra $65 is that bad for an entire beer tour. If you didn't get a beverage package, the $65 tour goes even further because you are getting drink samples along the way! When you look online it's showing the Red Frog Pub & Brewery available on only Carnival Vista. I think the site may need to updated its info. https://www.carnival.com/onboard/redfrog-pub-brewery Quote
euroguy Posted November 20 Posted November 20 The Mardi Gras has a brewery and list what specialty beers are available, I would think the conquest and Jubilee would as well. 1 Quote
Kendall James-Vargas Posted November 20 Posted November 20 @euroguy Does Carnival Mardi Gras have the same Red Frog Pub & Brewery onboard? It looks like Mardi Gras' brewery is Guy's Pig and Anchor Smokehouse, Brewhouse. Quote
euroguy Posted November 21 Posted November 21 @Kendall James-Vargas Mardi Gras has the RedFrog Tiki bar. Guys Pig and Anchor smoke house brewhouse is the new big thing and eliminats the red frog brewhouse. Guys has the following... all-new, exclusive line of Parched Pig™ craft brews. There’s a smoked porter, a farmhouse ale, a hoppy IPA and a toasted amber. when i was on the Mardi Gras they have a viewing area to see several large stainless steel conical fermenting tanks. While i was looking a brew master opened a glass door and asked if i wanted a tour... of course I said YES!! lol. He walked me through the process which pretty interesting and it's hard to be upset about getting a free solo tour. I hope thatis answered your question Quote
