LukeJ
After reading on the forums in regards to rising costs of gratuities onboard Celebrity cruises, and discussing the cruise line with other people, it came across in our conversation what are the best amenities that celebrity cruises have to offer. I personally haven't been on board any of their ships, and a lot I've read have enjoyed them. I wonder if anyone has something really positive that the cruise line have done or have that stand them out from other cruises.
Kendall James-Vargas
Celebrity Cruises is known for a couple of things! One of those things is a free warm cookie. There was some controversy over that actually when the line decided to charge for signature cookie. Since the line is known for this "freebie" it's a staple that guests really love. Maybe @FJB can chime in here. I know he's been on many Celebrity ships. The Retreat is also a luxury amenity for suite class cruisers. I find that to be very unique to Celebrity Cruises. It's a great way to travel if you can fit it in your budget. https://www.celebritycruises.com/things-to-do-onboard/staterooms/suite-class
Emrys
Probably not the best cruise line for a family, you won't find any slides and roller coasters on a Celebrity cruise! 😂
LukeJ
That could be a blessing in disguise, not everyone are fans of the roller coasters, so a more pragmatic and simplified fun is better course of action. The free cookie however does sound ideal to me. I can taste it now.
Seaawgs
The advantage to any Celebrity cruise on a non Edge Class ship is people per square foot. Solstice and Millennium class ships offer multiple smaller venues for a variety of atmosphere. The variety of top shelf alcohol is good as well. After 400+ days on Celebrity my main reason for loyalty is the people. Their crew and professional staff are top notch. Since they promote from within, we've known many of them for years and have great friends among them.
Kendall James-Vargas
@Seaawgs That's a great addition. I have read about guests preferring Solstice and Millennium class ships over Edge class ships, and this could be a good reason why. I'm so impressed by your completion of 400+ days on Celebrity! That's such an achievement! I love seeing crew members on repeat. This has happened to me in the past, and it's a highlight to my cruise, always!
